Descending from an entrepreneurial family rooted in carpentry, I truly believe, that my scientific work has to translate into applications, which benefit business and our environment at the same time to welfare our society in a sustainable and reliable fashion. My firm’s mission statements is to bring latest methods of computational mechanics, Scientific Machine Learning and Structural engineering into beautiful design through projects. From my past experience I can state, that this fashion circles back ideas and research questions from practice into science but also raises awareness about the lastest scientific developments among engineers, politicians, clients and the general public.

Realization of the potential of digital transformation in the construction and real estate sector through our vision of an integrated and silo-free digital construction world in the form of digital twins generated from 2D planning data with the help of artificial intelligence. This enables essential innovations for the digitization of valuable data, which is currently “trapped” in the form of conventional construction planning documents. The intelligent use, analysis and evaluation of these data is only one added value of the customers of our approach. Our AI-based solution extracts trade-specific information building and construction plans as well as technical drawings of any kind. The end-to-end digitization process, the database-oriented management of the data, and the interaction with customers takes place within our cloud-based platform. The output file in the internationally recognized IFC format can be downloaded directly from our platform or viewed in the cloud-integrated IFC viewer. This novel approach to digitizing planning data provides the digital foundation for any BIM-based application along the entire value chain in the context of planning, design, construction, through to asset and facility management tasks of structural assets. Thus, you create a valuable and usable data source regarding your existing and future structures.
